Remember these? Of course you do! These little toys were all the rage in McDonald's Happy Meals... almost 20 years ago. Yikes, where does the time go?
Well, 20 years ago I was obsessed with these little creatures. I remember getting up and ready for school at 4am so that we could drive to 3 different McD's in town... yeah, that happened. So, needless to say, in the last 20 years I've grown up! I've moved out of my parents house, and into a home with my husband... and neither party wants these in their house anymore. Rather than throw them, or put them on ebay for pennies on the dollar, I decided to breathe some life back into them.
I think it's important to mention, each toy I used to make the pacifier holder was opened from a sealed bag just a few days ago, and the iconic tag was removed for safety. Yes, these toys are FINALLY going to get to be played with - their intended use, go figure! Also, these now "vintage" toys provide my generation of parents with some nostalgia.
